Maitland Pickers

Maitland Pickers enjoyed a great 2020, winning the inaugural Presidents Cup and their Ladies League Tag side making the Grand Final for the first time.

The Pickers are one of the most successful clubs in the Newcastle competition, but they are also one of the most turbulent. Twice in the 2000’s (2004 & 2008) the club was forced to withdraw from competition due to financial problems. Since 2009, the club has found its way again, winning back to back titles in 2010-11.
